Here are some pictures of our epic time in Etah. If you have been following our journey you will know that we spent a few days 78 degrees north in Greenland. We were a little stuck but nothing major. We ended up anchoring off the pack ice for this time waiting for it to break up. A polar bear came to visit and the girls got run, jump and slide on the ice. It was our winter (but really summer) playground. We miss Etah, it will be forever etched in our minds.

Wonderful photos! Love your family adventures. I’m very interested to seeing your cool vessels when you make it too Homer. I’m ready for an adventure connecting the Pacific Rim in a vessel like yours.
Kind Regards,

Hi Carly,
Saw a post from Stephen Smith an old teaching buddy of mine about your incredible adventure. My husband and I are ex yachties and have the itch to go sailing agin with our kids now 4,6 and 8. Any thoughts? Like you we swallowed the hook started a business but desperately want to go sailing again. I’ve even thought there might be families out there that might want to swap places for a while, enjoy life on land and on our farm in exchange for us going sailing on their boat, do you think any families out there would think that was worth doing? Anyhow, I think why you’re doing is amazing and hope we can do it with our kids too, soon.
Fair winds,
Heidi
