We have been working 7 day weeks here, who says we’re retired? Carl has been working on all the electronics, running wires, swearing a lot and losing all the parts. I’m still working on curtains, what I thought was a week project is now at the end of it’s second week and still not completed.
I’m still on the hunt for a doc or midwife in the Bahamas but haven’t had much luck yet. I found a couple of Doulas that look good on Nassau so I’m sure they’ll point me in the right direction. One of our handy helpers has decided to take the trip down to Marsh Harbour with us in a few weeks which will make our maiden voyage a little easier, he even thinks my cooking tastes good. Perfect decky!
The carpenters swear they’ll have 3 doors in today but I really don’t see how that’s going to happen, it’s 1pm and the first door is starting to go up now. Maybe tonight we won’t have a little Wags running up and down the hall dodging bed time. And maybe soon I’ll be able to pee in private without a lookout on guard. MAYBE.
All the windows have been in stalled and look fabulous. We had a few issues with drilling holes too small and tightening them on there too much which causes the Lexan to crack.
Totally gorgeous day today, can you believed it snowed at the beginning of the week and today we are in the 70s. The girls refuse to put clothes on and want to play in the sunshine. I think if it was socially acceptable I would run around with just panties on too today. Just don’t think the neighbors would like it.
