Last week we spent Christmas in Anguilla where we hung out at the beach, drank rum with friends and snorkeled with the kids.

We’ll be spending the next few weeks here in St. Martin finishing up our projects. We’ll be hauling out on the 4th of January. Anyone know of a place willing to house a family of 5 while we sand blast?

I think we’re about finally done with interior tweaking, and I’m soo happy with that. We have a fine dusting of sawdust all over the boat. Wishing it was snow, but alas, sawdust.
Crew’s new bed turned out fabulous! Check it out, it was a cupboard and now a bed.
Here’s the before, under the port berth is a cupboard. We removed this cupboard to make room for Crew.

We were in such a rush to get down here that Capri missed a very important dental appointment back in Maine. Well, technically she never missed it, they just couldn’t fit her in until after the New Year. WHAT!? I called to make an appointment and they couldn’t fit her in until 3 months down the line, that’s ridiculous. Oh and they requested that I come alone with her, not with my other two. Really?!
So I wasn’t that disappointed when I told them they we would not be returning for their services.
Instead I opted to risk taking her to a dentist in the Caribbean. Gasp!

Time has been racing by down in the Caribbean, how many sleeps until Christmas? Yikes!

Our dockage ends here on the 21st so we are rushing to get work done. The marina here has an AWESOME pool and when one of us needs to make a mess of the boat the other takes the kids off to their daily jaunt to the pool.
This morning we got our school work out of the way first thing – we don’t follow the calendar here, any day is a good school day as long as momma is happy.
Afterwards the kids helped us out with some chores, lunch, then off to the pool for some fun.
We decided to catch the sunset at the Sunset Bar, rightly named, and watch the planes come in. We finished the day off with some Mexican and a beer.
This is what Sundays are all about, when we remember it’s Sunday.
